As a graduate student at Syracuse University, I had an assistantship in the prop shop. I worked on the annual Syracuse Stage and Syracuse University Drama Department productions, and a few others along the way. I also spent the 1990 summer season running the prop shop at the Black Hills Playhouse.

I launched my professional career full-time as a props carpenter at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater for from 1991-1994. I have continued to be active in creating props, particularly during the summer with the Saint Michael's Playhouse.

As a theatre artist, I have been able to develop a variety of skills over the years. They aren't needed on every production, but I enjoy exercising my artistic license in a variety of ways as time allows (or the situation requires) on productions.
